Our Story

Based in Greensboro, North Carolina and serving clients nationwide, Toland Interiors is a small, independent interior design company focused on simplifying the design process for the everyday person.

We believe that working closely with our clients throughout the design process from start to finish is the foundation of a successful project. Our goal is to deliver a straight-forward design plan in a timely manner that suits your style and is within your budget. Since the beginning, our mission has always been to tell your story in the spaces where memories are made.

Cierra Toland is the founder and lead designer of Toland Interiors. Born and raised in central Nebraska, Cierra relocated to The Tar Heel State in 2018 when she married her husband.

Cierra designs with a thoughtful, personalized, and detailed point of view. She finds joy in the process of creating beautiful homes with timeless design that serve the families living within them well. Her favorite days are install days where the weeks and months of planning, designing, and coordinating come together. Whether this home is your first or 15th, down the street from where you grew up or across the world from your hometown, she understands that your space should represent who you are and should always feel like home. 

Joining Cierra this spring and summer 2022 is Chloe Brinkey. Chloe is our first intern at Toland Interiors and is a current Interior Architecture student at UNCG. She has a passion for Historic Preservation as well as adaptive and inclusive design that serves and supports individuals and families with special needs. We are happy to have her on the team helping to make projects like yours possible!"
